6th Annual Immuno-Oncology Symposium

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
The Centre for Translational Cancer Research is hosting a one-day Symposium on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Western’s Great Hall, Somerville House and is inviting trainees to submit an abstract for presentation during the event.
The Scientific Planning Committee has set aside 90 minutes of the agenda and will be inviting the trainees/post docs with the top 2 abstracts from the following 3 categories (Cancer Immunotherapy, Cancer Immunology, and Immuno-Oncology Molecular Imaging & Theranostics (MIT)) to present their research for 15 minutes (allowing for a 2-minute question & answer period). Abstracts not selected for oral presentations will be asked to present their research in a poster format (details to be provided at a later date).
All interested trainees/post docs are asked to submit their abstract (500 (Calibri) words or less; 1 Figure allowed) via email to Kimberly.Scott@lhsc.on.ca by Wednesday April 2, 2025 - 4pm EST. Please specify if you would like to be considered for the Cancer Immunotherapy Session, Immunology Session, or Immuno-Oncology Molecular Imaging session.
Presenters will be notified the week of April 7 by email, at which time additional details will be provided.
The Immuno-Oncology Symposium offers a great opportunity for trainees/post docs to showcase their work to researchers and clinicians from a broad range of backgrounds here in Southwestern Ontario.
